New South WalesLisa Flint was a self-trained athlete on Queensland's Gold Coast where she predominantly competed as a social triathlete. After moving to Williamtown (NSW) in January 2009 for her career she linked up with coach Scott Westcott & rapidly developed into a world-class marathon runner.
Flint's outstanding result in winning the 2009 Melbourne Marathon was a Commonwealth Games A-qualifying time & propelled her to 8th on the Commonwealth ranking list.
