VictoriaTony Benson is a retired Australian long-distance runner who competed at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. He held Australian Records over 2000m & 3000m distances, and was ranked 5th in the world for 5000m.
Following his retirement from competition, Benson previously worked as the National Athletics Coach for both Philippines & Australia. He has travelled throughout Africa, Asia & the Pacific as an IAAF lecturer, and is currently involved with Run Out Of Poverty providing free coaching to disadvantaged students.
